Lemon Sauce

  • Prep Time: 10 Minutes ( Total Time: 15 Minutes)
  • Serving Size: 10
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Or Margarine
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Lemon Peel
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Drops Yellow Food Coloring
  • MIX sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan. Gradually add water, stirring until well blended.

    BRING to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil 3 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

    ADD butter, lemon peel, lemon juice and food coloring; stir until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
